Sheesh!! well, outta nowhere, I’ll be participating in the Tokyo Literary Festival next week! I hadn’t announced it because travel complications hadn’t allowed the plans to solidify, but everything came together this week, so it’s on! If you are going to be there, please come say hi! working cover for a picture book written by Mac Barnett out in the fall!
nice little write-up on a project I worked on with Motorola. we made an animated 3D short for their new phone, the Moto X, in which the phone screen acts as the free-moving camera inside the space where the story is taking place. I got to art direct the short (as well as this limited-run box) with Mark Oftedal as character designer and Jan Pinkava directing, as well as a whole crew of hugely talented people. It was a great project and I’m proud to have been on it!
